Loren Rausch

Loren grew up in Shepherd, Montana, in the shadow of the Beartooth mountains. This is where he started climbing 9 years ago, and the love of the sport / lifestyle has taken him throughout the lower 48, Alaska, and Nepal. He graduated MSU Bozeman with a double major in Biomedical and Organismal biology. He is currently employed at Northern lights trading company, Spire climbing center, is an ambassador for La Sportiva, as well as a grassroots ambassador for Black diamond. He is a jack of all trades, comfortable on ice, rock, and mixed climbing, as well as snow, backcountry skiing, and higher altitude peaks. He was trained under the National Ski Patrol in Outdoor Emergency Care in 2000. Future plans consist of trips to Patagonia, Alaska, and the Himalaya; with some graduate school thrown in for good measure.
